Paid Ads Campaign
MySafeWork’s mission is to prevent workers from getting killed and injured on the job. They are committed to creating a social movement against unsafe work through education and empowerment. This year they wanted to translate this mission into a 1 hour live stream that would be broadcasted to hundreds of schools and workplaces across Canada.
We began by developing a social media strategy, running online ads and taking over their social channels to increase awareness about the cause and the event. Our goal was also to drive online registrations leading up to the live stream event. On event day, our team transformed The Great Hall into an intimate space with a full broadcast quality set up. Courageous 2018 was both creative and meaningful as we educated the next generation of workers, as well as those currently in the work force, about the importance of a safe workplace and how to stand up, link up and speak up for your rights.
Our team began the day early to get the video, lighting and staging elements ready for the live stream. Once everything was up, we got into our positions to execute, direct and operate the show.
We created two graphic & photography based videos that were used as part of the livestream programming. One is the introduction video for the live stream itself, and the other is an informational animation.
We ran 3 paid ad campaigns from April 1- April 30 to drive both live stream registrations and website traffic. This included ads on both Facebook and Instagram, as well as a Google AdWords campaign. The campaigns resulted in 3,311 clicks to the website, and 34 registrations which includes classrooms and various companies. Below are some of the ads that we developed for these campaigns.
We ran the official Instagram, Facebook and Twitter accounts to promote online registrations leading up to the event. Below are some of the visuals that we created.
