PROJECT OVERVIEW

How can we make financial literacy accessible to youth across North America? Collaborate with a personable and successful social media influencer. To effectively communicate RBC's financial literacy curriculum #ItAllAddsUp we partnered with YouTube influencer Tyler Oakley.  We produced a promotional video that was integrated into RBC's sponsorship activation during WE's multi-city youth empowerment tour. 

As a veteran social media influencer with more than 8 million YouTube subscribers, Tyler was the perfect partner in helping us deliver a financial message that was relatable to our internet-savvy audience. The final result was a question-and-answer video that was shown during WE Day's 2017 events.

Beyond the WE events, we also crafted a cross-promotional digital strategy that increased the video's reach, leveraged Tyler’s social media presence, and ultimately, increased visibility and awareness of RBC's #ItAllAddsUp curriculum.
